Low cost packages
Treatment for every budget and every patient
Here at the London Women's Clinic we understand that fertility treatment can be an expensive time; our minds still on the recent recession and the impact of NHS cutbacks. The cost of fertility treatment can prove to be a financial burden for those of us looking to start a family.
With this in mind, the LWC has produced a new range of low cost price packages to fit every budget and every patient looking to start a family. For example, our egg-sharing programme already provides free IVF treatment to eligible women by donating some of their eggs. This programme is now available for women who would like to egg-share when they freeze their eggs or when they have treatment with their lesbian partner (partner to partner and egg-sharing).
Following on from the success of our three cycle IVF package the clinic is happy to launch new three cycle treatment packages. We have found that not only do our three cycle packages reduce the financial burden of treatment, but following a course of treatment can reduce the emotional and physical burden by making treatment a less stressful time.
Egg-sharing
If you are 35 or under and able to produce healthy eggs but need IVF treatment, with our egg-sharing service, you could donate some eggs to a potential mother in need of them. In return, the clinic will provide basic free IVF treatment to you. You'll also have the satisfaction of helping another woman become a mum.
Partner to partner and egg-sharing
Partner to partner egg-sharing is becoming a popular treatment available at the London Women’s Clinic among our lesbian patients. This treatment enables both partners to be involved with one providing the eggs (the genetic mother) and the other carrying the pregnancy (the birth mother) and receive a more affordable recipient treatment. Partner to partner and egg-sharing involves both partners going through different steps of an IVF cycle using donor sperm from the LWC’s sister company The London Sperm Bank or another sperm donor of their choice.

Egg freezing for egg-sharers
If you are 35 or under and able to produce healthy eggs but want to freeze your eggs, with our egg-sharing service, you could donate some eggs to a potential mother in need of them. In return, the clinic will provide basic free egg freezing treatment to you. You'll also have the satisfaction of helping another woman become a mum.
IVF Lite
Mild ovarian stimulation for IVF has regained favour due to the realisation that it is associated with fewer side effects, incurs a lower risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), has a lower cost and should provide sufficient number of eggs (oocytes) to fertilise and enable the transfer of good quality embryos.
Advantages of IVF Lite
- It is suitable for all patients requiring or requesting IVF with normal AMH/FSH results and a BMI of less than 31
- It uses low dose stimulation to recruit a maximum of 4-6 pre-ovulatory follicles
- There are minimal side effects as there is no conventional IVF superovulation
- It can still enable the development of embryos to the blastocyst stage and should provide a single blastocyst transfer (e SET) if appropriate
- The cost of treatment medication is lower than conventional IVF
Disadvantages of IVF Lite
There will be a lower number of embryos available following a treatment cycle but with careful selection IVF Lite may be the viable alternative to conventional IVF for those not wishing to freeze supernumerary embryos.
IVF drugs package
When you go through your IVF cycle, you will need to take a combination of drugs to manipulate your cycle and stimulate the development of mature eggs. A variety of different regimes are used depending on individual requirements which are all discussed with you during your initial consultation with the specialist.
Here at the LWC, we understand that fertility treatment can be expensive so we have developed a low cost IVF drugs package which, through using our supplier Home Care, means that you can have your IVF drugs at an affordable price and sent straight to your home.
Recently, various retailers have started to offer fertility drugs at affordable prices for their customers. Below is a table of some of the prices we have found.

Three-cycle package
Here at the London Women's Clinic our aim is to make treatment less stressful and more affordable.
Results worldwide demonstrate that success rates improve when treatment is undertaken as a course of cycles and not as a one-off attempt.
Fertility treatment when charged on a cycle-by-cycle basis, may prove an expensive approach, but at the London Women's Clinic our three-cycle packages offers three treatments for the price of two. Response to the idea has been tremendous and success rates are good.
We have found that patients are more relaxed from the outset if they know that they have further opportunities for pregnancy. And our results show without doubt that the 'cumulative' rate of success is always higher than that from one cycle.
