Coping with infertility
Fertility Support Group
Infertility can be a very personal and private challenge. Having been told that your only option of achieving a pregnancy is through IVF treatment sends your emotions all over the place and coping with the ups and sometimes downs is like being on an emotional rollercoaster. No-one understands exactly what you are going through, unless it’s someone going through the same thing themselves. Sometimes, even good friends and close family can’t give you the exact support you need..
This is where a support group becomes invaluable.
The meetings are held at The London Women’s Clinic in Cardiff and is aimed at those people currently undergoing fertility treatment, but is open to everyone, regardless of where you are having your treatment.
The meetings will be held on the 3rd Tuesday each month in a relaxed and informal setting. It will give you a chance to chat to people, in a similar situation to yourself, over a nice cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit or two. Confidentiality is a vital part of the meeting, what is said in the group, stays in the group!
