- The Pathway to Surrogacy – 10:00-11:00
The route to conceiving can be fraught with highs and lows, and whilst surrogacy has its own grey areas, London Women’s Clinic has completed more surrogacy journeys than any other UK clinic. We hope you will come away with confidence in understanding how surrogacy works, advice on recruiting a surrogate, our clinical data in the sphere and the legal steps of the pathway.

In this talk we will cover fertility testing; egg, embryo and sperm freezing; and the way your gametes can be used in fertility treatments and also the support LWC can provide.
- Fertility Options for Lesbian Couples – 14:30-15:30
In this talk we will introduce the most popular methods of starting a family for lesbian couples. You’ll gain an understanding of what a patient journey looks like at LWC, why so many women undergo Shared Motherhood with us, and the support you’ll have along the way
Dr Sarah Mourik
Consultant in Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine
Dr Mourik qualified in medicine at the Erasmus University Hospital in Rotterdam, Netherlands, where she went on to undertake her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. On completing further subspecialist training in reproductive medicine, she was appointed as a Consultant at LWC where her special interests include gynaecological surgery, IVF and adolescent gynaecology.
