Over 40s Open Day
Sunday 18 September 2022
1 St Thomas St, London, SE1 9RY
What is the Familymakers Fair?
London Women’s Clinic, London Sperm Bank and London Egg Bank will be coming together to create an open environment where anyone can learn about their fertility options – from IVF to using donor eggs and sperm – at the first Familymakers Fair.
As Familymakers for the past 35 years, we have pioneered many fertility treatment techniques that have been introduced across the industry. As such, we are always looking towards the future and to help as many people grow their families as we can. We understand that families come in all shapes and sizes, whether you have a genetic link to your children, are parenting solo, or with a partner, and we ensure that the services we provide are tailored specifically to you.
Event Programme
We will be opening our doors from 10am so you can explore our clinic, meet our staff and find out how we achieve our industry leading results. We will be bringing together our experts from Bristol to Harley Street to present on a range of topics specifically curated for Over 40 such as embryo genetic testing, fertility testing, using donor eggs and our endometrial receptivity testing.
Conceiving later in life can present its challenges as pregnancy chances decline. London Women’s Clinic pairs advanced techniques with industry-leading clinical expertise to give you the best chance at overcoming those odds. Tailored for those aged 40-44 years seeking treatment using their own eggs, this presentation will explain IVF select, how chromosome balancing helps your chances, and how our leading research has created techniques for those who have gone through repeated failed cycles.
With over 20,000 stored eggs ready for use, you’ll be sure to find your match with London Egg Bank. LEB are the first and largest egg bank in the UK. In this talk, you will understand how you can begin your family, thanks to a donor’s act of kindness paired with advances in technology. After all – parenthood requires love, not DNA. Sharing, donating, giving, and receiving eggs are aspects of donor altruism that have helped 1000s of recipients of IVF treatments, all from the comfort and safety of home.
