Single Women's Open Day

Saturday 1 October 2022

1 St Thomas St, London, SE1 9RY

What is the Familymakers Fair?

Families come in all shapes and sizes – whether there is 1 parent or 2, whether parents are the same sex or opposite, or whether there are genetic links to the child or not. Society is changing and so must we.

The Familymakers Fair will bring together all our partners under one roof with a shared mission – to create a safe and open space to explore your fertility options, from whichever walk of life you are from. London Women’s Clinic, London Egg Bank and London Sperm Bank are proud to have been Familymakers since 1985 and we are excited to share our expertise.

Event Programme

We will be opening our doors from 10am so you can explore our clinic, meet our staff and find out how we achieve our industry leading results. We will be bringing together our experts from Bristol to Harley Street to present on topics specifically curated for single women such as fertility testing, using donor sperm, egg freezing and fertility treatments from IVF to IUI.

Through this talk, we hope to empower you with all the tools and knowledge needed to navigate this exciting new chapter to motherhood. From fertility checks to IVF, we are confident in our ability to guide you through all avenues of possibility to conceive. Glean some insight into the busy working of the London Sperm Bank, as the backbone of our successful donor insemination programme spanning the last 20 years.

Being able to freeze and store your eggs has created unparalleled opportunities for women who want to begin their families when it is most suitable for them. As of July 2022, you can now choose to store your eggs for up to 55 years, meaning it’s more pertinent now than ever to understand the process and opportunities provided by egg freezing.
