Professor Nick Macklon, Medical Director

Professor Macklon is a world-renowned expert in reproductive medicine. He has held professorships at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands, the University of Southampton and the University of Copenhagen - where he is currently based. He is co-founder of the Complete Fertility Centre clinic in Southampton, and a member of the Executive Committee of the European Society of Human Reproduction.

Mr Ruwan Wimalasundera , Consultant Obstetrician & Fetal Medicine Specialist

Mr Ruwan Wimalasundera is Medical Director of the LWC Ultrasound Centre and Head of Obstetrics at the world renowned University College London Hospital (UCLH). He manages all aspects of pregnancy and delivers at UCLH and the Portland Hospital. He specialises in high risk pregnancies including older mothers and multiple pregnancies, where he is one of the leading experts in the UK and is highly regarded amongst his peers.

Sandra Sinclair, Clinic Coordinator

Sandra is our clinic coordinator and works with Francesca, our clinic receptionist, to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic. Sandra is your first point of call should you have any queries with your appointment. She joins The London Ultrasound Centre with over 25 years of private practice experience in the Harley Street and Wimpole Street area. Sandra previous worked as a practice manager for a private dentist and as a personal assistant and medical secretary to private GPs.

Francesca Lagrasta, Clinic Receptionist

Francesca is our clinic receptionist working alongside our clinic coordinator. She is on hand to assist with booking enquiries, reporting of results, account enquiries and clinic diary management. An energetic and competent medical receptionist with experience of providing the highest standard of patient-centred administrative support. She possesses a proven ability to deal with all aspects of front office duties and is able to handle competing demands professionally and efficiently.
