Egg donation

With three events taking place in Wales and the South West in the next month, we take a closer look at what happens during our open days and why people should come along.

Woman’s Hour featured two women who had opted to start a family as solo mothers:  Genevieve Roberts who used donor sperm to have her children and Beth who used donor sperm and donor eggs from the London Egg Bank

On International Women’s Day it’s a good opportunity for us as a clinic to reflect on how things have changed for women and their fertility choices.

Steph and her partner went to LWC Canterbury for treatment with donor sperm.  After a couple of failed IUI attempts, Steph decided to egg-share

Stephanie and her partner Dan had IVF treatment with donor eggs after she was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure. They now have a 19 month old baby boy called Isaac thanks to the LWC Harley Street.

After a number of setbacks, Linda and her partner had success using an altruistic egg donor.

At the London Women’s Clinic we see many women over 40 come through our doors looking for fertility treatment. That’s why we have created a dedicated Fertility for the Over-40s treatment programme.

At the London Women’s Clinic we have designed a specific Fertility for the Over-40s programme tailored to help women over 40 to have a baby.

Kathleen donated her eggs through our partner clinic, the London Egg Bank, which has seen hundreds of women come through its doors looking to donate their eggs since it opened in 2013. Here she tells her story.
