Fertility for the Over-40s

With three events taking place in Wales and the South West in the next month, we take a closer look at what happens during our open days and why people should come along.

The LWC are proud to be sponsoring a whole day of events at Fertility Fest 2019 called What Comes First: the Career or the Egg which takes place on Saturday 4th May 2019 at the Barbican, London.

We speak to Professor Nick Macklon, Medical Director of the LWC, to understand why fertility declines and to learn more about the treatment options available to women over 40.

Zeynep Gurtin discusses the latest ONS figures showing an increase in conception rates for women over 40.

On International Women’s Day it’s a good opportunity for us as a clinic to reflect on how things have changed for women and their fertility choices.

After a number of setbacks, Linda and her partner had success using an altruistic egg donor.

Perhaps you have had miscarriages in the past or you are a woman in your late thirties or early forties concerned about your chances of conceiving.  Embryo screening using a technique called PGT-A could help you achieve a pregnancy and healthy baby.

Part of the LWC's pioneering approach is using the latest technology and techniques to give you the best chance of having a successful pregnancy and taking home a healthy baby.

At the London Women’s Clinic we see many women over 40 come through our doors looking for fertility treatment. That’s why we have created a dedicated Fertility for the Over-40s treatment programme.
