Treatment programmes at the LWC Brentwood

Our innovative treatment programmes have been developed with the latest technology and techniques. All consultations, investigations and treatment monitoring takes place at our newly refurbished clinic in Brentwood with IUI, egg collection and embryo transfer taking place at our state-of-the-art clinic in Harley Street, London.

Meet some of the LWC Brentwood Team

Our dedicated team of experienced clinicians and friendly front of house staff will be with you each step of the way during your journey with us.

Dr Timea Kovats, Consultant Gynaecologist and IVF Specialist

Dr Kovats has been working in the field of reproductive medicine and assisted conception since 1993. She started work at the largest private IVF clinic in Hungary the Kaali Insitute before moving to the UK to join Bourn Hall Clinic in Colchester in 2012. Dr Kovats joined the London Women’s Clinic team in January 2018.She is highly experienced in all aspects of reproductive medicine, with a particular interest in the complicated cases and management of gynaecological disorders such polycystic ovarian syndrome, premature ovarian failure and menopause.

Katie Rees, Lead Fertility Nurse

Katie began her nursing career in the Intensive Care Unit at Basildon Hospital, before entering the world of fertility nursing at London Women’s Clinic in 2018 where she has since become an Independent Nurse Prescriber. As lead nurse for the Brentwood clinic, Katie heads a team of dedicated nurses who aim to provide the highest level of personal care to all patients, whilst encouraging a happy and welcoming workplace for staff.

Dr Barbora Lukacova,

Dr Lukacova previously worked as an obstetrician and gynaecologist at the largest hospital in the Czech Republic, focused on high risk pregnancies, before moving to the UK in March 2022 to focus her skillset in treatment of infertile couples. She joined our Brentwood team in January 2023, where she provides consultations, gynaecological and early pregnancy scans, tubal patency testing and assessments of uterine cavities. Dr Lukacova is interested in all aspects of infertility, particularly in premature ovarian failure and fertility preservation and as a result is deeply compassionate in supporting patients through their fertility journey to provide the best patient-centered care with empathy and understanding.

Angela Leach, Nurse Practicioner

Angela found her way into fertility nursing not long after qualifying and has been passionate about women’s fertility health ever since. A strong advocate for women empowerment, she is dedicated to ensuring women understand their health, reproductive choices and feel knowledgeable when making the decision to become a parent. Angela co-leads Brentwood clinic’s nurses to ensure patients are provided a safe, supportive and caring experience.

Hannah McMillan, Fertility Nurse

Having trained at Kings College London and subsequently worked as a midwife in a Central London hospital, Hannah joined our Brentwood satellite clinic in 2021 as a Fertility Nurse. Passionate about women’s care, she loves working as part of a small team dedicated to following patients through their fertility journey.
