Patients at London Women’s Clinic can access high-quality donor sperm through our sister clinic, London Sperm Bank. They follow strict HFEA regulations to ensure all donations are safe, ethical, fully traceable and shipped quickly to avoid treatment delays.
Step 1
Explore the online donor catalogue 24/7 to view available donors, profiles and compatibility information. This allows you to make a personalised choice that suits your family-building goals. Payments can be made securely online, including via Paypal.
Step 2
All donors undergo full HFEA-compliant screening, genetic testing, and mandatory counselling. Samples are frozen and securely stored in state-of-the-art cryostorage facilities, ensuring quality and traceability.
Step 3
Selected donor sperm is used in treatment cycles tailored to your individual fertility plan. At LWC, our clinicians ensure protocols are optimised to maximise your chances of success.
Step 4
Patients at any HFEA-licensed UK fertility clinic, including LWC, can access donor sperm from LSB. To ensure a smooth journey, you should be a registered patient with a treatment plan in place before placing an order.

Lorraine on reception especially made me feel like nothing was too much trouble and always knew me by name which is such a nice personal touch, especially at such a sensitive time. ‘Came here after my treatment at LWC Darlington as I needed to be part of the failed implantation team. The care and communication was second to none. It was everything and more, no question to my coordinator was never too much. They were extremely accommodating when I had to travel from up north multiple times and were always happy to let me have my then 2 year old son come to monitoring appointments. I’m grateful for their expertise in failed implantation as my 3rd egg collection was successful and my fresh transfer worked first time & I’ve just gave birth to my second LWC baby in September 2026. ‘Going through the IVF journey is always going to be difficult, but the team at London Women's Clinic in Harrow have made it the best experience possible. We've had constant support, check ins, and they have really got to know us and understand our concerns and issues. No question has ever felt like a silly one, and they've been incredibly accommodating when we've needed it too. The whole team have been amazing, but in particular Carla, Ana-Marie and Dr Goswami. We actually relocated away from Harrow 12 months ago, but have continued to go back to the team there as we've built such a great relationship with them, and their support through such a difficult journey has meant the world to us. Yes. In the UK, children conceived using donor sperm can access identifying information about their donor once they reach 18. Our clinic partner team is happy to talk through what this means and how openness is supported throughout treatment.
Using a UK sperm bank offers greater reassurance and long-term protection. Donors are carefully screened and counselled, donor use is limited to a maximum of 10 families, and full records are maintained. This supports safety, transparency and informed choice for families and donor-conceived children. By comparison, donors recruited outside the UK may be subject to different regulations and family limits, which can affect long-term traceability and access to information.
Yes. Through our sister clinic, London Sperm Bank, all donors are recruited, screened and counselled in the UK, in line with HFEA regulations. Any imported donor sperm must also meet strict UK and EU regulatory standards.
Donor sperm may be used by single women, same-sex female couples and patients whose partner is unable to provide sperm. Our team will help you understand whether donor sperm is the right option for your individual circumstances.
