The London Women’s Clinic is able to provide NHS-funded treatment to patients in;
- Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire
- West Sussex, East Sussex and Brighton and Hove
- Kent and Medway
- Gloucestershire
We are also able to provide treatment in selected other NHS locations around the country. Each ICB works differently, but if you fit the eligibility criteria for your local Integrated Care Board (ICB) you could be referred for NHS treatment at the London Women’s Clinic.
Who is eligible?
Each ICB has a set criteria and will differ in terms of what treatment will be funded. Funding for fertility treatment may not be available if you or your partner already have children or if the female partner is over a certain age or has a BMI over 29.
How to get started
The first step is to see your GP who will discuss your fertility status and potentially send you for initial investigations. Following these investigations, you may then be referred to see a specialist at your local NHS fertility clinic (secondary provider) who may carry out further investigations.
If treatment is required, you can ask your Consultant or Nurse Practitioner to refer you for treatment at the London Women's Clinic. If the ICB that would be funding your treatment gives approval to this referral, we will then be able to begin your care.
