Colchester Town Railway Station is just a short distance away, with regular services connecting the city to London, Ipswich, Chelmsford, Norwich, and other towns across Essex and East Anglia. With multiple bus routes stopping nearby - including 1, 1A, 2, 2A, 3, 87, 102 and 104 - getting to the clinic is straightforward whether you’re travelling locally or from further afield.
There are several convenient parking options near Priory St, Colchester, including Greyfriars Car Park and Priory Street Car Park. Accessible spaces for patients with reduced mobility are available at some locations. We recommend checking availability in advance to ensure a smooth visit.

My partner and I originally had fertility testing with the team in Colchester and found out he was unable to have children naturally. ‘The team at the London Women's Clinic in Colchester has made our IVF journey one that I'll be eternally thankful for. It is the kindness, empathy, and remembering of small details that made the process feel so personal centred. Tracey was our first point of contact and she ensured that everything was understood and always kept us promptly informed. She was always happy to explain when we had questions. She felt like such a life line on many occasions. Annette always treated us with dignity and kindness and put me at ease throughout the whole journey. She even phoned to offer kind words post egg collection and retrieval. Jackie instantly gave off such a warm persona and her positivity really is infectious. Again we were at ease in Jackie's company. Dr Kovats was extremely kind and explained the whole process in such a way we would understand. You never felt rushed and we always felt at ease especially when having an ultrasound. Even when we were not due to see Dr Kovats on a certain visit, she clocked us and said hello - which just felt really nice ! The whole process was seamless and we just felt that there was no battling with admin tasks or long waiting times. Communication was brilliant the whole way through. When we first started this journey we felt so lost but the whole team made it so easy to navigate. IVF is such a difficult journey and I'm just so glad that we chose the London Women's clinic. ‘We cannot thank the team at London Women's Clinic enough. Both Jackie, Annette, and Tracey were kind, considerate, and thoughtful, and they were able to answer ANY question without any hesitation before and after treatment. We had one failed round and one successful round, and throughout it all, both the Colchester and London clinics were fantastic. We always felt in safe hands. A year on, as we consider a third round, the team have once again been incredibly helpful with their communication. They are not only professional but also bring warmth and compassion to every interaction. It was also such a lovely touch to receive a birthday card on our daughter's birthday, this team really does care. We also had our young son with us at times, and they were so accommodating when he needed to come into the clinic. Some appointments require you to bring a photo ID (passport or driving licence) so we can verify your identity. Your ID should include your legal name, date of birth and photograph. If ID is required, we'll let you know ahead of your appointment.
Yes, we do. Virtual consultations are available for your convenience, allowing you to access expert advice from the comfort of your home.
Absolutely. You can contact the relevant team by telephone or email to reschedule or cancel your appointment. For initial assessment appointments, patients are advised at the time of booking about our cancellation policy: we ask for at least 48 working hours’ notice to make any changes. Cancellation and Refunds Policy
- If you need to cancel, please notify us by phone or email at least 48 hours in advance.
- Once any services have been provided, a full refund will no longer be available.
- Patients may reschedule appointments twice without any additional fees. If you need to reschedule a third time or more, the full appointment fee will apply.
- Please note that fertility health assessments are valid for 12 months from the date of booking.
