Dr Gideon Verwoerd

Dr Gideon Verwoerd is Clinical Director at LWC’s Cardiff and Bristol clinics, bringing decades of international experience in reproductive medicine. He completed his medical degree and specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, and holds MRCOG (2005) and FRCOG (2017). He worked for nearly two decades as a Consultant IVF Specialist at Bourn Hall Clinic in Cambridge and spent eight years supporting patients in China, including Mandarin-speaking patients. 

Deeply committed to patient care, he finds it profoundly rewarding to help individuals and couples achieve their dream of starting a family.
