Our 2021 success rates are calculated as ‘live birth per embryo transferred’. This is the measurement preferred by the HFEA and is the most likely to offer reliable information to patients. All clinics transfer embryos, usually one at a time, so births measures against the transfer of a single embryo, allows patients to understand success rates most reliably and to assess clinics in a meaningful way.
